WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA — The community of Lower Burrell is grieving the tragic loss of William Hartman, a 20-year-old man whose life was cut short in a motorcycle accident on Monday, May 26. The accident occurred just before 4 p.m. when William’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a sedan in the city. Despite the swift response of emergency services, he succumbed to his injuries approximately an hour and a half later.

William was known for his vibrant spirit, love for adventure, and deep commitment to his family and friends. A recent graduate of Plum High School, he was pursuing his passion for mechanics and had dreams of opening his own motorcycle repair shop. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Friends and family remember William as a kind-hearted individual with a zest for life. His parents, John and Lisa Hartman, describe him as a “bright light” in their lives, always bringing joy and laughter to any room he entered. His younger sister, Emily, recalls their shared love for outdoor adventures and the countless memories they created together.
